About Me

Hi! My name is Melanie Maldonado. I am a certified doula and I provide support during pregnancy, birth and post-partum.

My goal is to Empower Women for an Empowering Birth.

I have been in the medical field for over 13 years, serving as a Registered Medical Assistant. I am a mother of 4 and having different births and breastfeeding experiences has led me to provide support to pregnant and birthing mothers and their families!

I work with families in Broward County and surrounding areas.

What is a Doula?

A doula is a trained support person that can provide evidence-based information to guide pregnant, birthing and post-partum families.

With the support of a doula there have been more positive outcomes during birth, according to research.

Expectant parents can expect informational resources, visits, support during active labor

and birth, and postpartum visit.

Postpartum Support

Post-partum visits are provided at an hourly rate during the 6-8 week period.Post-partum visits

include assistance with household duties, assistance with mama care, sibling care and more.

It’s crazy how looking back, we truly cannot imagine our pregnancy and birth experience without Melanie. She is an extraordinary doula, one who goes above and beyond with her care and attention.
